I want to thank everyone that helped with unloading the trailer from Field Day. The task also led to moving a pile of junk in my garage to properly stow the masts. The junkmen came later in the week, and they left with a full truck. I cannot tell you the number of times I started to clear the junk by myself but ended up just moving it around the garage.
Again, thank you to all the hands that showed up that Saturday.
Our meetings in August are going to be a bit different. At our first meeting on the 8th, Steve KFØBZX will be presenting an introduction into 3D printing. On August 22nd, the church has a conflict and is unavailable to us. We will have an off-site meeting, but what exactly that meeting will look like has yet to be determined. Suggestions are welcome. Tune into the nets and watch your email for updates.
If you have not marked your calendar for October 18th, now is a suitable time as that is the date for this year’s Ensor auction. When you have finished with the calendar entry, look around your shack for items that have not been touched in years. These items could be a tripping hazard. The auction is a good place for these items to find a new home.
We are looking for someone to help coordinate the auction. If you could help, let me know and I will provide you with the information from previous years.
