THE WHEATSHOCKER NET PREAMBLE – 2m and 440 Nets

This is W0ERH and "The WHEATSHOCKER Net". Before we begin the net, I will take a standby for any EMERGENCY or PRIORITY traffic, please call W0ERH now.

"The WHEATSHOCKER Net" is the official net of the Johnson County Radio Amateurs Club of Johnson County, KS. We operate the net under the club call sign of W0ERH. Your net control this evening is (your name, call sign).  This net meets each Wednesday and Thursday night at 7:00 pm local time.

 

Wednesday:  This net is meeting through the club's Fusion repeater at 442.600, and is connected to the Kansas City Room through Wires-X.  We ask first for check-ins from the local machine on 442.600 MHz Repeater.  Also, there is a slight delay for Wires-X communications, so please space your calls to allow everyone access. 

Thursday:  This net is meeting through the club's analog repeater at 145.290 Mhz.

 

Meetings of the Johnson County Radio Amateurs Club are held the 2nd & 4th Friday of every month at 7:00 p.m. In November & December we have only one meeting on the 2nd Friday of the month. Meetings are held at the Overland Park Christian Church located at 7600 W, 75th St., Overland Park KS 66204. Visitors are always welcome to join us at our meetings. Information about the club can be obtained from our website at www.w0erh.org.
